• 1. Basic knowledge of diesel generator set

POWERTEC generator set connected by flexible coupling drive include the alternator and the main driving device of water-cooled/air-cooled engine. Engine and the alternator are accurately fixed installation in a neutral steel chassis. The engine is consisted of a battery-powered motor and all in a common control monitoring device in the control box. The equipment must be placed within the rain awning with rain door to facilitate the operator. Sound-absorbing device should be installed in the import and export of cooling air to reduce noise.

• 2. Knowledge points that all diesel generator sets should master

Diesel engine: The main driven equipment of POWERTEC series generator are adopted CUMMINS, PERKINS, VOLVO, DEUTZ, CAT, MTU, DOOSAN, YUCHAI and WUXI power engine from all over the world. Those water-cooling engines are in accordance with ISO8528-2:1993 standard requirements.

These engines include following systems:

1) Prepared adjustment speed controller of engines fuel injection system;

2) Diesel oil, lubricating oil, engine exhaust should filter properly;

3) Use high-capacity battery to start up;

4) Most of engines use electronic speed control;
